On January 29, 2007 VETC held a demonstration meeting
On August 16, 2007 VETC was officially chartered
On September 19, 2007 VETC held its first Humorous Speech and Table Topics contest
On October 22, 2007 VETC’s Charter Ceremony Meeting was held at the Terminal City Club and was attended by 86 members and guests, including Jimmy Pattison
On February 20, 2008 www.vetc.ca was launched
On March 12, 2008 VETC held its first International Speech and Evaluation Contest
On June 10, 2009 VETC’s membership growth forced a move to its current meeting venue at 300-755 Burrard Street in downtown Vancouver
On June 2, 2010 VETC restricted its future members to entrepreneurs only
On June 30, 2010 Toastmasters International awarded VETC the status of President’s Distinguished Club – the highest possible club ranking in the Toastmasters world.
