Vanessa Lesperance. The President of Vancouver Entrepreneur Toastmaster Club. Vanessa's mission is to create the best work environments possible by leveraging her Metis (Anishinaabe-French) ancestor's Indigenous worldviews by inviting people to bring their whole selves to work.
Ryan Spencer is a teacher, a speaker, and a habitual punster who just so happens to be one of VETC's Co-VP(s) of education. When not tinkering with new ideas to help the club you can find him at local coffee shops creating poems, worksheets, and pondering over just what his next speech should be about.
As Joy defines herself, she is ‘a lifelong student of visual arts’. A rebel at heart, she wants to make a change through design. Joy helps businesses, as well as non-profits, achieve their goals and make a positive impact in the life of their users.
Anna Sharonova left the corporate world and successful career and started her own adventure. In five years she could launch a satellite TV channel, establish a marketing agency, organize cybersport festivals and open a sales office in the US. By moving to Canada she started a new chapter in the marketing business.
Savneet Sandhu is a restaurateur, a budding entrepreneur, and a lifelong learner. As a person who is running the business, Savneet wears multiple hats, but her favourite role is helping team members to grow and learn new skills.
The One, and The Only. Thanks to Roger, we all have the opportunity to train public speaking, improve communication, and build leadership skills. Roger supports high-growth, BC-based businesses with capital, connections and mentorship.
James Dean is one of the co-founders of the Vancouver Entrepreneur Toastmaster Club. Business consultant. Professional speaker. Mentor. He not only helps VETC members how to become better speakers but mentors on how to succeed in life.
Robert Dewey, a commercial film director, planetarium producer, live music impresario, rave visuals artist and a communications company founder & CEO. And this is not the full list of his entrepreneurial journey. Robert joined VETC a year ago. And already became an irreplaceable part of the team.
The former President of VETC and the former Area Director of Toastmasters International, Mila's goal is to be a helpful and supportive leader, make sure that the club runs with a high standard level, and provide every member with a safe place to grow and succeed as an entrepreneur.

Lily put her experience in food science to formulate SugarLike Encapsulated sweetener. She started her company with one goal in mind: to help make our world a better place with healthy sweeteners. And now everyone can satisfy their sweet cravings without compromising their health.
Adam runs Steamoji Academy in Kitsilano. He believes the best way to prepare for a world of accelerating change is to train children with the foundational skills and mindsets to build solutions to problems of the future.
Hasan brings his unique talents and passions to the club and is always eager to contribute. He became the winner both in Table Topics and International Speech club’s contests. And on February 18 Hasan will represent VETC on the Area C33 Contest.
